Take in the local sights and sounds at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Experienced long-tail boats , appreciate the winding waterways and get a brief glimpse of those who live on the river. Then see vendors scramble as the train rushes by the Maeklong Railway Market.
Maeklong Railway Market, which roughly means ‘umbrella pulldown market’, it is famous for the vendors’ mad scramble to pack up when a train goes by. We’ll explore and hopefully see the train pass before making our way to our next stop the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. One of the more famous floating markets in the city, it is made up of a network of narrow canals dotted with vendors paddling their boats filled with their wares.
Visit Wat Bang Kung – Temple hidden within the roots of a banyan tree.
This temple is probably the most iconic in Amphawa District, known for its roots and branches of banyan tree which over the centuries have surrounded and locked the building, it houses a golden Buddha.

- If Your accommodation is outside our regular service area (since traffic in Bangkok can be terrible, especially during rush hour). Please meet at the meeting point, our office (WanderSiam) in Chao Khamrop Road, opposite the ‘Tai Hong Kong Shrine’ and ‘Phlapphla Chai 2 Police Station’ (for taxi: สถานีตำรวจนครบาลพลับพลาไชย).
HOW TO TRAVEL TO THE MEETING POINT:
- Regular taxi or Grab.
-MRT (metro) to MRT Station Wat Mangkon, take Exit 3 and walk in approx. 5 minutes to our office. We highly recommend to travel by MRT to the meeting point if there is any MRT station near your accommodation.

Visitors must be properly dressed when visiting temple. Shoulders and ankles need to be covered. No shorts, slippers, or revealing tops, otherwise you won't be allowed in.

Finally a great journey- we were really happy.
The trip was really nice and I can recommend it to all person who want to see something more as only Bangkok. Only thing to know is you should go there (to the meeting point) really early ohterwise the company start directly. There is no time slot for waiting 5 min. Because of this we missed the first tour. For 2000 bath we was able to make the excursion at the second day. The guide was really friendly and helpful. I would do the tour again.

Wanderful floating market and train market experience.
The tour we took through the floating market, temple, and train market was distinctly unique and interesting. Our host explained each area and gave us invaluable information including historical facts, safety precautions, and things to explore while we were on the tour. The tour was outside of Bangkok but was well worth the drive to have a more authentic experience. Highly recommend booking with WanderSiam.
