Start your experience at Wat Arun by dressing up in a traditional Thai costume. Explore the temple with your guide, visit some of the best photo spots, and get help taking photos along the way.
After Wat Arun, continue by tuk-tuk through Bangkok’s Old Town. Pass famous landmarks including the Grand Palace, the Giant Swing, Loha Prasat, Chinatown, and Wat Pho. Some stops are for outside views and photos only, allowing you to see several of Bangkok’s well-known landmarks without spending too much time at each location.
Along the way, you’ll also have the chance to see Wat Arun from across the Chao Phraya River and explore the lively streets of Chinatown.
The experience also includes a simple folding lotus flower activity, giving you a chance to try a small part of Thai culture during the tour.
This tour is a good option for travelers who want to combine a Thai costume experience, photo opportunities, and a tuk-tuk ride while seeing several of Bangkok’s historic landmarks.
Your route
Start the tour by dressing up in a traditional Thai costume. Explore Wat Arun with your guide and visit some of the temple’s best photo spots. Your guide will also help take photos for you during the visit.
Pass by the Grand Palace, one of Bangkok’s most famous landmarks and a former royal residence. Take some time to admire the palace from the outside and take photos.
Note: Entry to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew is not included. The complex will only be viewed from the outside.
Stop at the Giant Swing, a historic landmark located in front of Wat Suthat. Take photos and learn about its history before continuing to the next stop.
Pass by Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan and admire Loha Prasat, also known as the Metal Castle. Take photos of the distinctive architecture from the outside.
Note: Entry to Loha Prasat is not included. The temple will only be viewed from the outside.
Continue by tuk-tuk to Bangkok’s Chinatown. Explore the lively streets, traditional shops, local businesses, and the mix of Chinese and Thai culture.
Enjoy a view of Wat Arun from across the Chao Phraya River. Take photos of the temple and its distinctive riverside architecture from the opposite side.
Note: This stop does not include entry to Wat Arun. The temple will only be viewed from across the river.
Pass by Wat Pho, one of Bangkok’s oldest and most important temples. See the temple’s distinctive architecture and learn about the famous Reclining Buddha, which measures 46 meters in length.

Meeting Point: Tha Tien Pier
Meet your guide outside the main entrance of Tha Tien Pier, in front of the yellow building with the “THA TIEN” sign.
Your guide will be wearing a blue WanderSiam shirt and holding a WanderSiam sign.

If you cannot make it on time, please let us know before the tour starts. If possible, we’ll do our best to reschedule you for the next available time slot or day, though a rescheduling fee will apply.
We understand plans can change. You’re welcome to reschedule your tour date or time up to 24 hours before the start at no extra cost.
