Bangkok by Night: Boat, Tuk-tuk & Chinatown Street-Food Meal
Bangkok

Experience the ‘Big Mango’ in a whole new light and join us for an evening of iconic sights, local flavors, and unforgettable moments!
After sunset, the chaos of the day gives way to a more atmospheric and magical version of itself, with temples and palaces beautifully illuminated, night markets bursting into life, and the scent of sizzling street food drifting through the air. Bangkok becomes more relaxed but just as vibrant, the perfect time to explore.
We begin with a scenic ride on the Chao Phraya Express Boat, offering sweeping views of the riverside skyline as the lights of the city begin to twinkle.
Our first stop is Wat Arun, the striking Temple of Dawn, which looks even more magical under the night sky when its spires are lit up in golden light. Although the temple itself is already closed at this time, we stop nearby so you can take some stunning photos of this iconic landmark.
From there, we cross the river and hop into a typical Thai tuk-tuk, a fast and fun way to weave through Bangkok’s old town. It’s an experience in itself, the sounds, the lights, and the breeze as you zip past historic buildings and temples.
On our route, we pass iconic landmarks such as the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, and make short photo stops at the Giant Swing and the Flower Market (Pak Khlong Talat). Each place carries centuries of history and culture, and your guide will share the stories behind these historic sights.
We end the evening in the heart of Chinatown, one of the world’s largest and most authentic. Unlike many parts of Bangkok, Chinatown has managed to preserve its original character. Here, we’ll stop to enjoy a simple street-food meal and dessert, just like the locals do.
This tour is perfect for travelers who want to see Bangkok in a different light. It combines fun transport, iconic sights, local stories, and a street meal, all set against the backdrop of Bangkok by night.
Important notes:
Your guide will wait for you at Saphan Taksin BTS Station, Exit 2, at street level.
This exit is located at the end of the street, close to the river.

Bangkok’s traffic is often notoriously congested, so we kindly ask all guests to arrive on time. We always recommend taking the BTS (skytrain) or MRT (metro) to a station near the meeting point.
As our tours run on a group basis, we can wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. After this grace period, the guide will begin the tour. If you cannot make it on time, please let us know before the tour starts. If possible, we’ll do our best to reschedule you for the next available time slot or day, though a rescheduling fee will apply.
We understand plans can change. You’re welcome to reschedule your tour date or time up to 24 hours before the start at no extra cost.
If something comes up within 24 hours of the tour, please email us at tours@wandersiam.com and we’ll do our best to help. Please note that a change fee will apply.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund.
For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued.
Our tours operate rain or shine, as tropical rain showers in Thailand usually don’t last long. If it rains heavily, we try to seek shelter and will continue as soon as the weather improves. During the rainy season, it’s a good idea to bring a raincoat or poncho. Please note cancellations due to weather are not eligible for a refund.
While changes to the itinerary are very rare, WanderSiam reserves the right to modify the published schedule whenever, in our judgment, circumstances require it or if we consider it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of our guests.

Tuk Tuk tour with best guide Bee
We had an amazing evening. Enjoyed the scenic beauty of Bangkok’s skyline going through chaophraya river. We had an amazing and very intelligent guide Bee who knew his city really well took us to amazing sights by tuk tuk. We were very much looked after and the tour finished at china town followed by dinner. One of my highlights for this trip was tuk tuk tour. Thank you Bee for your amazing hospitality and showing around your beautiful city.

Top class short tour of the main sights at night
This tour exceeded our expectations massively. Booked at quite short notice just as we took off for Bangkok it was a last minute decision but so glad we booked it for our first night in the city. It covered the major sights and at the end of the tour included a great street meal in Chinatown. The guide was first class. Engaging, enthusiastic and even gave me some photo tips. Absolute value for money, would definitely recommend.

Awesome Tour Guide!
Worth what you pay for! The best tour I made during my Thailand solo trip. Good job Tour Guide Tack 👏👏👏 the best tour guide I’ve ever had on that trip. More powers, Tack! This is great idea than morning tour because of hot weather and the temples looks amazing too in night.
