Bangkok by Night: Boat, Tuk-tuk & Chinatown Street-Food Meal
Bangkok

Experience the ‘Big Mango’ in a whole new light and join us for an evening of iconic sights, local flavors, and unforgettable moments!
After sunset, the chaos of the day gives way to a more atmospheric and magical version of itself, with temples and palaces beautifully illuminated, night markets bursting into life, and the scent of sizzling street food drifting through the air. Bangkok becomes more relaxed but just as vibrant, the perfect time to explore.
We begin with a scenic ride on the Chao Phraya Express Boat, offering sweeping views of the riverside skyline as the lights of the city begin to twinkle.
Our first stop is Wat Arun, the striking Temple of Dawn, which looks even more magical under the night sky when its spires are lit up in golden light. Although the temple itself is already closed at this time, we stop nearby so you can take some stunning photos of this iconic landmark.
From there, we cross the river and hop into a typical Thai tuk-tuk, a fast and fun way to weave through Bangkok’s old town. It’s an experience in itself, the sounds, the lights, and the breeze as you zip past historic buildings and temples.
On our route, we pass iconic landmarks such as the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, and make short photo stops at the Giant Swing and the Flower Market (Pak Khlong Talat). Each place carries centuries of history and culture, and your guide will share the stories behind these historic sights.
We end the evening in the heart of Chinatown, one of the world’s largest and most authentic. Unlike many parts of Bangkok, Chinatown has managed to preserve its original character. Here, we’ll stop to enjoy a simple street-food meal and dessert, just like the locals do.
This tour is perfect for travelers who want to see Bangkok in a different light. It combines fun transport, iconic sights, local stories, and a street meal, all set against the backdrop of Bangkok by night.
Important notes:
Your guide will wait for you at Saphan Taksin BTS Station, Exit 2, at street level.
This exit is located at the end of the street, close to the river.

Bangkok’s traffic is often notoriously congested, so we kindly ask all guests to arrive on time. We always recommend taking the BTS (skytrain) or MRT (metro) to a station near the meeting point.
As our tours run on a group basis, we can wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. After this grace period, the guide will begin the tour. If you cannot make it on time, please let us know before the tour starts. If possible, we’ll do our best to reschedule you for the next available time slot or day, though a rescheduling fee will apply.
We understand plans can change. You’re welcome to reschedule your tour date or time up to 24 hours before the start at no extra cost.
If something comes up within 24 hours of the tour, please email us at tours@wandersiam.com and we’ll do our best to help. Please note that a change fee will apply.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund.
For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued.
Our tours operate rain or shine, as tropical rain showers in Thailand usually don’t last long. If it rains heavily, we try to seek shelter and will continue as soon as the weather improves. During the rainy season, it’s a good idea to bring a raincoat or poncho. Please note cancellations due to weather are not eligible for a refund.
While changes to the itinerary are very rare, WanderSiam reserves the right to modify the published schedule whenever, in our judgment, circumstances require it or if we consider it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of our guests.

Well balanced tour of temples, with history, the flower market, culture all done on Tuk Tuks and ferry.
Siri was so fun and a delightful and knowledgeable guide. We have teen girls and it was super fun for them, the right length and balance of Tuk Tuk, ferry, temples, and food. I highly recommend as it’s so nice to have information shared rather than reading from a guidebook constantly.

Colourful and informative trip! Just enough for a tour!
Had a lovely tour, it got off to a slow start and was soon rectified.
Lovely tour to the temples, once we had braved the mad taxi boat!
Siri was very informative and enthusiastic not to mention passionate about Thailand and its history.
I was worried when she said the tuktuk was like a Lamborghini however the drivers were very good and careful in comparison to other drivers if had before this tour. It also made me realise how much other people had ripped us off around Bangkok for tuktuk rides.
The flower market, history and praying is a must. Showing our gifts from the flower market and hearing about how special the marigolds are.
Then onto china town. I was so worried as my son had an upset tummy from the night before. However she had organised the most Devine chicken noodle soup followed by what I can only describe as coconut delights afterward.
No need to worry about Bangkok tummy in this tour! Brilliant. We then walked through a very touristy part of china town which worried my son a little and she made sure we were aware to protect our bags from pick pocketers.
Thank you

Great guide, informative but fun tour, good stops on route.
Siri the tour guide was great: she had knowledge to share and did it with a sense of fun. Evening sunset over the temple was awesome. Thank you. Highly recommended.
