Krabi – Emerald Pool & Hot Springs, Tiger Cave Temple Tour
Krabi
+3
During this tour you'll visit the Emerald Pool and Blue Lagoon, the Hot Springs and the Tiger Cave Temple.
The Emerald Pool, also called ‘Sa Morakot’ is a unique natural pond with a visually limpid blue color and wonderfully warm waters, making it a stunning spot for swimming.
Nearby the Emerald Pool you'll find the Blue Lagoon, a beautiful pool with deep aquamarine-blue water. Don’t be tempted to take a dip in the blue water, because unlike in the Emerald Pool you can’t swim here!
Namtok Ron is located in a shady green forest area with numerous hot springs. The hot springs and cool streams converge on a slope to form lovely cascades of warm water. The water comes from volcanic chambers deep underground. Of course you’ll have time to relax in one of the many natural hollows in the creek.
Set in a beautiful forest, Wat Tham Suea (Tiger Cave Temple) is one of the highlights in Krabi, for in addition to being a place of worship it is a famous meditation centre, and acts as a retreat for Buddhist monks and nuns.
You need to climb 1260 stairs to the top, so a degree of physical fitness is required. Once you make it to the top, you are rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding countryside with all the limestone cliffs and beautiful lush rain forest. If you think the climb to the top might be too tough for you, you can also visit the temple on ground level.
Please note the entrance fees are not included and are as follows:
- Emerald Pool The National Park fee : 400 THB per person
-Hot Springs : 200 THB per person

Wonderful day!
We loved our tour! Our guide, Otto, was fantastic! Lots of great information throughout the whole tour. We liked each stop. The Tiger Cave Temple is a strenuous climb of 1260 steps, many of them quite tall, but reaching the top is worth it! The views were breathtaking. Make sure to wear approximate clothing for temples (cover shoulders and knees for women). The blue pool, emerald pool, and crystal pool are all very beautiful! Otto arranged for our tour to arrive to the pools early to beat the crowds, which we loved! We didn’t have to share the pools with big crowds and the walk through the rainforest to reach the pools was so peaceful. We even got to see leopards that the park was rehabilitating and Otto gave us great info about the rainforest plants as we walked. I would definitely recommend this company and this tour. Great day!

GreatTour 5/5
This tour was an excellent experience thanks to my guide Otto. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited and also carried a high respect and love for nature. This tour is well worth the money considering how expensive a taxi/grab/shuttle would be from place to place. The Tiger Cave Temple was a very physically demanding hike.
However, if you decide to not do it don’t worry as there is plenty to do at the base. Thank you Otto for a great experience!
