Krabi – Emerald Pool & Hot Springs, Tiger Cave Temple Tour
Krabi
+3
During this tour you'll visit the Emerald Pool and Blue Lagoon, the Hot Springs and the Tiger Cave Temple.
The Emerald Pool, also called ‘Sa Morakot’ is a unique natural pond with a visually limpid blue color and wonderfully warm waters, making it a stunning spot for swimming.
Nearby the Emerald Pool you'll find the Blue Lagoon, a beautiful pool with deep aquamarine-blue water. Don’t be tempted to take a dip in the blue water, because unlike in the Emerald Pool you can’t swim here!
Namtok Ron is located in a shady green forest area with numerous hot springs. The hot springs and cool streams converge on a slope to form lovely cascades of warm water. The water comes from volcanic chambers deep underground. Of course you’ll have time to relax in one of the many natural hollows in the creek.
Set in a beautiful forest, Wat Tham Suea (Tiger Cave Temple) is one of the highlights in Krabi, for in addition to being a place of worship it is a famous meditation centre, and acts as a retreat for Buddhist monks and nuns.
You need to climb 1260 stairs to the top, so a degree of physical fitness is required. Once you make it to the top, you are rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding countryside with all the limestone cliffs and beautiful lush rain forest. If you think the climb to the top might be too tough for you, you can also visit the temple on ground level.
Please note the entrance fees are not included and are as follows:
- Emerald Pool The National Park fee : 400 THB per person
-Hot Springs : 200 THB per person

Great tour through nature
Our guide was very well informed and seemed very engaged.
We were in the national park extra early to be able to discover everything without a big tourist rush.

We had a very nice time with our your guide, Otto. He arrived early and gave us a lot of information about the three sights. It really took the whole day so make sure to plan for it.

Krabi Experience Tour
The tour was brilliant from start to finish !
Otto was an excellent guide, so knowledgable and passionate about every aspect of the tour which made it so much more enjoyable. It’s brought us to the emerald pool at the start of the tour to avoid the crowds this was great as we had loads of space to swim and enjoy the nature. Thank you so much Otto you made the experience even more worthwhile !!
4.5
good experience in terms of tour guide being nice, helpful,n speaks good English but the tour could have been nice.
We had fun day at these attractions not only because these places are beautiful n picturesque and serene but because our tour guide Otto is such a nice, kind n helping person n speaks good English n could help us with the whole experience considering language is a big barrier n one could b lost in translation and have a real bad experience if we don’t understand the language. He was very entertaining and enthusiastic and full of energy to show us n guide us everywhere. Thanx i give him 5***** though i have 4stars to the tour, as they were extra charges at the entry points of all these attractions n this was kind of complete put off as we paid quite a lot for this sday trip at Emerald pool, hot spring and tiger caves we still had to pay (thai baht 400+200 per person) which is a lot if one goes in a grp. Not happy

Pleasant tour guide and full day of activities!
I really liked how Otto plans the itinerary so we are usually the only ones at the viewpoints! He shares a lot of information about nature and is easy to talk to 🙂 Emerald pool is very cool and can view tiger fish swimming near the rocks~ Hot spring is warm but my favorite part was the cold river afterwards! Refreshing~
Tip 1: Bring GOOD shoes for Tiger Cave Temple. Steps are so steep! Viewpoint at 800 steps is almost same but I just wanted to do 1280 to feel good about myself huhuhu. Filtered water station at top. Women must cover shoulders and knee caps!
Tip 2: Bring 600 baht for National Park fees! And extra money for lunch (anywhere from 60-350 baht)
