Phi Phi Island Adventure

Famous for their postcard-perfect beauty, the Phi Phi Islands captivate visitors with sandy beaches, turquoise bays, and towering limestone cliffs rising dramatically from the Andaman Sea. On this half-day sunset tour, you’ll experience the islands’ barefoot lifestyle and breathtaking nature as you swim, snorkel, and soak in unforgettable views.

Meet your group and boat driver in front of McDonald’s at Tonsai Pier (Koh Phi Phi), then set off for Monkey Bay. This jungle-fringed cove is ideal for snorkeling in crystal-clear waters teeming with colorful fish. Keep an eye on the cliffs, where playful long-tailed macaques often climb down to greet passing boats.

From here, we cruise past Viking Cave, an extraordinary site with ancient wall paintings resembling Viking ships. For centuries, this cave has also been central to the local bird’s nest trade. Swiftlets build their nests high on the rocky ledges, and daring workers climb fragile bamboo scaffolding to collect them, a dangerous tradition tied to the prized Chinese delicacy of bird’s nest soup.

We continue into the stunning Pileh Lagoon, where sheer cliffs surround a natural pool of dazzlingly clear, shallow water. The soft white sand beneath your feet makes this an idyllic spot to swim or snorkel.

Our journey then brings us to the legendary Maya Bay, world-famous as the setting for the film The Beach. With its white sand, jungle backdrop, and dramatic limestone cliffs, it’s one of the most photographed places in Thailand. Nearby, we stop at Loh Samah Bay for another chance to snorkel among vibrant marine life in shallow, sheltered waters.

As the trip comes to an end, relax on the boat and take in the ever-changing colors of sea and sky around the Phi Phi archipelago, a perfect finale to an unforgettable island adventure before returning to Tonsai Pier.

Important notes:

• Maya Bay is closed every year from 1 August to 30 September by government order to allow the area to recover naturally. During this time, all other stops on the itinerary remain accessible, and you’ll have extra time to enjoy swimming and snorkeling at these beautiful locations.
• The National Park entrance fee of THB 400 per person is not included and should be paid in cash on the day of the tour.
• This tour starts on Phi Phi Island, not from Ao Nang (Krabi) or Phuket. Guests need to stay at least one night on Phi Phi because of the ferry schedule.

• The meeting point is in front of McDonald’s on Phi Phi Don, conveniently located near Tonsai Pier for easy access to the boat.
