2. Wat Ton Kwen (Wat Inthrawat)
A quiet, off-the-beaten-path temple in Hang Dong district, best known for its beautifully preserved antique wooden vihara built in classic Lanna architectural style, with its original ornate wooden doors still intact.
3. Wat Phra That Doi Kham (Wat Suwan Barampat)
A hilltop temple more than 1,300 years old, located on Doi Kham at an elevation of about 465 meters. Highlights include a giant reclining Buddha overlooking the city, the 22-metre-tall Luang Phor Phud Dai (the Buddha who can speak), a golden Thao Wessuwan statue, and the revered Phra Chao Than Jai, believed to grant wishes quickly.
