Discover Chiang Mai by night on a guided tuk-tuk tour. Visit Wat Phra Singh, Wat Phan Tao, and Wat Chedi Luang, and explore the bustling Night Bazaar.
1. Wat Phra Singh
Visit Wat Phra Singh, one of the most famous and beautiful temples in Chiang Mai’s Old City. Also known as the “Monastery of the Lion Buddha,” this active temple is home to monks and novices.
Explore the temple and admire its classic Lanna-style architecture, intricate details, and peaceful atmosphere.
2. Wat Phan Tao
Discover Wat Phan Tao, one of the oldest temples in Chiang Mai’s Old City, located next to Wat Chedi Luang.
Admire the temple’s beautiful Lanna-style viharn, an impressive ordination hall made almost entirely of teakwood and built on a stone foundation. Take a moment to appreciate its distinctive traditional architecture and craftsmanship.
3. Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara
Visit Wat Chedi Luang, also known as the “Temple of the Great Stupa.” The temple is best known for its enormous ancient chedi, which dominates the surrounding area and is one of the most impressive historical structures in Chiang Mai.
Explore the temple grounds and learn about its history, including its connection to the Emerald Buddha, which was once housed here before being moved to Bangkok.
4. Wat Lok Molee
Continue to Wat Lok Molee, one of the older temples located just outside Chiang Mai’s Old City walls.
Admire its large and impressive chedi, built in the 16th century, and discover the temple’s connection to the Mengrai Dynasty and the history of the former Lanna Kingdom.
5. Chiang Mai Night Bazaar
End the tour at Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, one of the city’s most popular evening markets. Explore the lively market filled with stalls selling clothing, handicrafts, souvenirs, local products, and a variety of street food and snacks.
Enjoy a simple local meal and dessert at the market before saying goodbye to your guide. After the tour, you can continue exploring the Night Bazaar on your own or take a tuk-tuk back to your hotel at your own expense.

Chiang Mai 101
Tik was an excellent tour guide and very informative with answering all of our questions. Good sense of humour. Easy to communicate with. Took us to good food after the tour around temples during the cooler evening, when they were less crowded and beautifully lit up.

Fun evening out
Fun evening with Tuktuks and very knowledgeable guide. This would be great to do on first evening in city. Temple visits were educational and Sunday night market was an overwhelming experience.
