Start your experience at Wat Arun by dressing up in a traditional Thai costume. Explore the temple with your guide and visit some of the best photo spots, with help from your guide to capture photos during your visit.
After exploring Wat Arun, cross the Chao Phraya River and continue into Thonburi by traditional longtail boat. Cruise through the historic canals and see wooden houses, local communities, and everyday life along the waterways.
Stop at Baan Silapin (The Artist’s House), a historic wooden house and local art space along Khlong Bang Luang. Take some time to explore the house, artwork, and surrounding canal-side community.
Continue by boat and pass Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen. From the canal, you can see and photograph the temple’s large Buddha statue without getting off the boat.
This experience combines a Thai costume and photo session at Wat Arun with a traditional longtail boat ride through Thonburi’s canals and a visit to one of the area’s historic riverside communities.
Your route
Start the tour by dressing up in a traditional Thai costume. Explore Wat Arun with your guide and visit some of the temple’s best photo spots. Your guide will also help take photos during the visit.
Cross the Chao Phraya River and enjoy a view of Wat Arun from the water. Take in the temple’s distinctive central prang and detailed porcelain decoration.
Note: You will not disembark at Wat Arun during this part of the tour. The temple will only be viewed from the river.
Visit Baan Silapin, a historic wooden house and local art space along Khlong Bang Luang. Explore the riverside community, see traditional wooden houses, and take some time to enjoy the artwork and peaceful canal-side surroundings.
Continue by longtail boat through Thonburi’s canals and pass Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen. See the large Buddha statue from the water and take photos before continuing the canal ride.
Note: You will not disembark at Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen. The temple and Buddha statue will only be viewed from the boat.
Meeting Point: Tha Tien Pier
Meet your guide outside the main entrance of Tha Tien Pier, in front of the yellow building with the “THA TIEN” sign.
Your guide will be wearing a blue WanderSiam shirt and holding a WanderSiam sign.
Please arrive at the meeting point on time.

If you cannot make it on time, please let us know before the tour starts. If possible, we’ll do our best to reschedule you for the next available time slot or day, though a rescheduling fee will apply.
