Explore Bangkok’s Grand Temples and Hidden Canals
Start your tour at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, one of Thailand’s most important landmarks. Take time to explore the temple grounds and admire the detailed architecture before continuing to Wat Pho, home to the famous Reclining Buddha.
Next, visit Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn. Located along the Chao Phraya River, the temple is known for its distinctive central prang decorated with colorful porcelain.
After visiting Bangkok’s main temples, continue by traditional longtail boat and explore the city’s historic canals. Cruise through Khlong Bang Luang and see traditional wooden houses, riverside communities, and local life along the waterways.
Stop at Baan Silapin, also known as The Artist’s House, a historic wooden house and local art space beside the canal. Take some time to explore the area before continuing through the canals and passing Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen. From the boat, you can see the impressive Giant Golden Buddha and take photos from the water.

Your route

Visit Wat Pho, one of Bangkok’s oldest temples, and see its famous Reclining Buddha. Explore the temple grounds and learn more about this important historic site.
Visit Wat Arun, one of Bangkok’s best-known riverside temples. Admire its distinctive central prang and the colorful porcelain decorations that cover its surface.
Cross the Chao Phraya River by boat and enjoy views of Wat Arun from the water as you travel toward the Thonburi side.
Visit Baan Silapin, a historic wooden house and local art space along Khlong Bang Luang. Walk around the area and see the traditional houses and riverside community.
Cruise through the canals and pass Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen. From the boat, you can see the Giant Golden Buddha and take photos from the water.

Please meet your guide in front of the Tha Chang Ferry counter, located on the Chao Phraya River, directly across the road from the Grand Palace.

- Modest clothing is required when visiting the temples.
- Shoulders and knees must be covered.
- Please avoid sleeveless tops, shorts, and short skirts.
- Comfortable and breathable clothing is recommended due to Bangkok’s hot and humid weather.

As our tours run on a group basis, we can wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. After this grace period, the guide will begin the tour. If you cannot make it on time, please let us know before the tour starts. If possible, we’ll do our best to reschedule you for the next available time slot or day, though a rescheduling fee will apply.
We understand plans can change. You’re welcome to reschedule your tour date or time up to 24 hours before the start at no extra cost.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund.
