Choosing a new pair of glasses has left me wondering how much attention to give the frame color. I have found three versions of a comfortable frame: dark brown, transparent grey, and a fairly subdued red. I usually wear fairly plain clothes, so the frames will be one of the most noticeable colors near my face. One reference I came across while thinking about the choice is personal color analysis and would like to understand how a palette suggestion might translate into an actual frame comparison. Should the first comparison be fairly neutral, followed by another check with the clothes and makeup I usually wear? A friend can help me compare them, but photographs may be less useful than seeing the frames directly. I would welcome a simple comparison method for cases where the fit is right and several colors seem plausible.
