Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Railway Market
Bangkok

Take in the local sights and sounds at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Experienced long-tail boats , appreciate the winding waterways and get a brief glimpse of those who live on the river. Then see vendors scramble as the train rushes by the Maeklong Railway Market.
Maeklong Railway Market, which roughly means ‘umbrella pulldown market’, it is famous for the vendors’ mad scramble to pack up when a train goes by. We’ll explore and hopefully see the train pass before making our way to our next stop the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. One of the more famous floating markets in the city, it is made up of a network of narrow canals dotted with vendors paddling their boats filled with their wares.
Visit Wat Bang Kung – Temple hidden within the roots of a banyan tree.
This temple is probably the most iconic in Amphawa District, known for its roots and branches of banyan tree which over the centuries have surrounded and locked the building, it houses a golden Buddha.

To much travelling
Guide was informative at places. Not enough time spent at places felt little rushed. But overall good day. Majority of time was travelling.

Great value for the experience
Very nice and polite trip organizers. Everything was smooth, AC in the car, gentle driving, some free snacks and free small water bottles. We had extra time so we did another stop for free. Very happy with our day.

Great value for money!
Suan was an exceptional guide, we really enjoyed the tour. Even though we booked for the train and floating market, we got two additional stops which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Very good trip!
The tour was everything that I was looking for, thank you! I would just ask to improve the car, it had bad suspension and I suffered from motion sickness.

An HONEST Review
Suan, our tour guide was very informative and it made the experience more enjoyable. The WanderSiam team are very professional and have great communication. The pick-up/drop-off was very quick and easy to navigate.
The tour was a perfect was to see more of Thailand outside of Bangkok and great way to support the locals and small businesses.
My suggestion to those booking this tour is to buy your souvenirs at the the last stop at the Maeklong Railroad Market. The prices are much cheaper than at the floating market.
I HIGHLY recommend this tour.
