Take in the local sights and sounds at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Experienced long-tail boats , appreciate the winding waterways and get a brief glimpse of those who live on the river. Then see vendors scramble as the train rushes by the Maeklong Railway Market.
Maeklong Railway Market, which roughly means ‘umbrella pulldown market’, it is famous for the vendors’ mad scramble to pack up when a train goes by. We’ll explore and hopefully see the train pass before making our way to our next stop the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. One of the more famous floating markets in the city, it is made up of a network of narrow canals dotted with vendors paddling their boats filled with their wares.
Visit Wat Bang Kung – Temple hidden within the roots of a banyan tree.
This temple is probably the most iconic in Amphawa District, known for its roots and branches of banyan tree which over the centuries have surrounded and locked the building, it houses a golden Buddha.
Pick up/Meeting point:
- Pick up and Drop off in regular service area.
- If Your accommodation is outside our regular service area (since traffic in Bangkok can be terrible, especially during rush hour). Please meet at the meeting point, our office (WanderSiam) in Chao Khamrop Road, opposite the ‘Tai Hong Kong Shrine’ and ‘Phlapphla Chai 2 Police Station’ (for taxi: สถานีตำรวจนครบาลพลับพลาไชย).
HOW TO TRAVEL TO THE MEETING POINT:
- Regular taxi or Grab.
-MRT (metro) to MRT Station Wat Mangkon, take Exit 3 and walk in approx. 5 minutes to our office. We highly recommend to travel by MRT to the meeting point if there is any MRT station near your accommodation.

Visitors must be properly dressed when visiting temple. Shoulders and ankles need to be covered. No shorts, slippers, or revealing tops, otherwise you won't be allowed in.

Suan was the BEST & so was this tour!!!
Suan was just the best tour guide!!! And, the tour itself was fantastic . I hardly write reviews (bur this one serves it) wow for the price for the amount you do is unmatched! As 33yr old woman traveling (me)), family, friends, etc I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. And youd’d be so lucky if you get Suan as your guide. She takes so many pics if you want,, and explains everything very well and is just very enthusiastic. 11/10

Markets and Temple Tour
Kitty was so knowledgable and friendly. We did the train market, floating market and temple tour. She gave us plenty of time at each place, was willing to take lots of photos and answered any questions. She took amazing photos of us at the market in front of the train. We were only a tour of 6 which was brilliant!! Recommend for everyone if in Bangkok 👌🏻
