Phi Phi Islands
The Phi Phi Islands are a stunning archipelago of six islands off Thailand’s Andaman Coast, with the two main islands being Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. They are best known as the setting for Leonardo DiCaprio’s movie The Beach, and it’s easy to see why these postcard-perfect islands are among Southeast Asia’s most iconic tropical getaways.
Phi Phi boasts pristine beaches, dramatic limestone cliffs, and vivid turquoise waters teeming with colorful marine life. The larger, inhabited Phi Phi Don attracts visitors to its charming shores, while the smaller, uninhabited Phi Phi Leh is home to secluded bays and beaches, including the world-famous Maya Bay.
Above the sparkling seas, striking cliffs rise beside nodding palms and soft white sands. Beneath the surface, vibrant coral reefs provide a playground for tropical fish and other marine creatures, making the islands a paradise both above and below the water.
